Last year, Hilary Easter-Jones was commisioned by The Lowry, Salford, to create filmed portraits of audience members for their exhibition Centre Stage: Portraits of a Lowry Audience.  This was an exciting commision as Hilary normally films the creative process of artists but now she is the artist.

Over the Summer and Autumn of last year, Hilary Easter-Jones visited The Lowry to find contributors for her films.  Following a lengthy casting process one by which Hilary immersed herself in The Lowry’s diverse event program, Hilary finally found 6 people to work with.

The results can be seen as of 26th January  until 12th May ’13 at the Promenade, The Lowry, Salford alongside that of Katherine Green the london based documenary photographer.

Wynter Productions are also working closely with the Manchester School of Art following students on the Interior Design Degree Course.  For this, we are filming them as they get to work on projects such as The Tim Burgess pop-up coffee shop.

Hilary starts her first lecturing job at Manchester School of Art this month.  She will be sharing her ideas on how to create  short films to complement their course work.

We have been asked to work alongside DIY Theatre Company once more.  For this project we will be following the performers as they make a peice of work about their time within the company in a piece called, Picking Up The Threads.
