Option 3

Option 1- Video installation

In the past we have produced digital content for a few exhibitions at The Lowry in Salford including The Half: Photographs of Actors by Simon Annand.

Featuring extraordinary portraits taken over 20 years by Simon Annand, the exhibition allowed us a rare glimpse into the more private moments of some of this country's most celebrated actors. Each has been photographed as they spend time in their West End dressing rooms, preparing to go on stage during 'The Half' - the last half-hour before curtain-up.

The short video features Shobna Gulati who starred in Victoria Wood's dinner ladies and best known for playing the role of Sunita Alahan in the long-running soap opera Coronation Street from 2001 to 2006 a role she has since returned to.

Option 2 - Document an event as it happens

Alongside producing digital content for your gallery or exhibition space, we can also produce a document of an event so that key exhibitions/events in a gallery's calendar can be captured.

For the Royal Exchange Theatre we documented "Making An Exhibition Of Ourselves" where the public were asked to produce art that represented their every day lives. Although the exhibition was only in situ for a short period, the project is available online forever.

Option 3 - Making a documentary of the creative process

Autumn 2009 saw Wynter Productions working alongside Schools in Preston as they learn about life on the home front during WWII.

The DVD was exhibited at the Museum of Lancashire as part of 'Their Past, Your Future' and will now be used as an educational resource.

Taking inspiration from the "Ministry Of Information" and "Pathe" films of the 1940's era, Wynter Productions provided a stylish but informative appraisal of the whole process.

”Working with Wynter Productions has been the most wonderful experience. Their professionalism and commitment to the project has been outstanding. By capturing the wartime memories and scenes of bonding between the generations they enhanced the whole experience for all involved. The finished product is of the highest quality and will be used within schools across the county as an inspiring teaching resource and within Age Concern centres to promote their reminiscence workshops.” Julie Creer, Lancashire Museum Services.
